Aero Services Lead ITR Engineer

Job Description Summary

The Aeroderivatives Services ITR Engineer executes complex projects and develops bid strategy equipment offerings and technical proposals for conversion modification and upgrades (CM&U) to GEs aeroderivative installed fleet. While strong focus is on project engineering management (PEM) this role spans the end-to-end ITR process partnering with Sales Commercial Product Management Sourcing Project Management customers and suppliers. Travel to customer meetings site surveys and conferences may be required.

Roles and Responsibilities :

PEM

• As project engineering manager oversee technical execution of complex CM&U projects from handover to end of GE contractual obligations.
• Develop and monitor project engineering schedule and budget and support PM with integrating customer / partner and GE engineering deliverables into overall project schedule while managing reports on project status.
• Develop and manage project technical strategy to mitigate risk.
• Ensure feedback for continuous improvement using the Lessons Learned process.
• Provide technical support for installation start-up and commissioning activities.
