Location : 1661 E Camelback Rd, Suite 140 Phoenix, AZ 85016
Hours : Full Time, M-F 7 am-5 pm, hours vary, with some Saturdays required
Anticipated Weekly Hours : Average 40 hours per week

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique. This position is critical to Solis Mammography; by providing outstanding care and efficient results, the technologist impacts the profitability of the organization as well as the patient experience.
A Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist :
- Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
- Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique
- Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health
- Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions
- Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned
Here is what you will need :
Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in RadiographyARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligibleCurrent on all required continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA and ARRTHigh School Diploma; Associates degree preferredMust possess non-restricted licensure in state work locationKnowledge of database software, RIS / PACS software is preferredTwo years of experience in mammography is preferredExperience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferredPrior quality control experience preferredAbility to read, write, and comprehend medical terminologyAbility to stand for long periods of timeWhy Solis Mammography?
