Content Designer | Dallas, TX | 4 days onsite

Are you a creative visionary with a keen eye for detail? We are on the hunt for a talented Content Designer who excels in instructional design, UX thinking, and graphic design. Your mission will be to craft engaging training materials and presentation content that transform complex ideas into clear, user-friendly learning experiences. You'll be instrumental in defining how learning content is visually structured, experienced, and remembered.

Rate : $65 / hr

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and deliver engaging training content and PowerPoint presentations that align with user needs and learning objectives.
  • Utilize UX principles to design intuitive, learner-focused materials, paying close attention to hierarchy, flow, and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to convert technical and conceptual content into easily digestible and engaging formats.
  • Design visually cohesive layouts using branding guidelines, typographic hierarchy, iconography, and color theory.
  • Create infographics, diagrams, templates, and visual frameworks to enhance content understanding.
  • Conduct user testing and gather feedback to refine learning materials based on audience experience and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to and manage a visual style guide for training materials and slide decks.
  • Ensure consistency in visual storytelling and instructional flow across various delivery formats (in-person, virtual, self-paced).

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Graphic Design, UX Design, Communications, or a related field.
  • Years of experience in content creation for training, communications, or product enablement, preferably in a corporate or professional setting.
  • Proven experience with UX design principles, including wireframing and user flow mapping, for learning or presentation content.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and experience with visual tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or Canva.
  • Strong understanding of layout, spacing, typography, color theory, and responsive design for various training formats.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design for learning content.
  • Excellent skills in written communication, visual storytelling, and instructional design.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • A portfolio showcasing a mix of content design, presentation slides, UX layouts, and visual storytelling.

    • Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.

    W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits : medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state / locality.
