Position Summary

Viant Medical is seeking an experienced

CNC Programmer

to join its Indianapolis, IN facility. In this role, you will program and support CNC mill machining activities while also contributing to

process improvement, new product launches, and advanced manufacturing technologies . This position is ideal for a CNC professional with experience in

3–5 axis milling, Mastercam, laser cutting, water jet, and advanced automation platforms .

Key Responsibilities

Develop, document, and validate CNC programs for production and prototype parts

Program and optimize

3–5 axis mills, laser cutters, water jet, laser etchers, and CNC punching equipment

Support new product introduction (NPI) and design-for-manufacturing initiatives

Troubleshoot machining and programming issues in a timely manner

Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and leadership to ensure quality and schedule targets are met

Lead and support continuous improvement efforts for cycle time, tooling cost, and process capability

Train and assist operators on setups, programming, and reading print specifications

Research, recommend, and implement new technologies to improve production efficiency

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred

5+ years of CNC programming experience

(with Associate’s degree)

Proficiency with

Mastercam™

required; experience with

OMAX, TruTops, TruMark, and Boost V11

a plus

Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and technical drawing interpretation

Experience programming

3-axis mills, water jet, laser cutters / etchers, and CNC punching

Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

Compensation & Benefits

Salary : $70,000–$85,000 / year

(based on experience)

$2,500 Signing Bonus
