• A passion for utilizing best practices in front-end (UI) architecture, including performance, accessibility, and reusability.
• Extensive experience with responsive web design.
• Experience developing UI with Web 3.0 and W3C standards.
• Experience writing and debugging dynamic client-side applications using MVC / templating frameworks like Angular.js, Mustache, Ember.js, or similar.
• Proficient in designing and developing standalone and web applications using technologies such as HTML4 / HTML5, CSS3, Ajax, WebSocket, jQuery, DOM, XML, and deploying on Apache Tomcat servers across UNIX, Linux, and Windows platforms.
• Experience with REST API, Backbone.js, SOAP web services, and API calls.
• Experience with jQuery, jQuery UI, Kendo UI, and jQuery Mobile.
• Mobile web development experience for Android, Windows Mobile, iPad, and iPhones.
• Advanced skills with version control tools such as GIT / GERRIT and SVN.
• Experience writing unit tests for client-side applications.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, especially Agile / iterative processes.
• Ability to develop scalable frameworks for future enhancements and sprints.
• Ability to review requirements and propose alternative solutions for application architecture.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines with quality deliverables.
