Job Summary
The Creative Minds Program Assistant (CMPA) role is based in the Community Outreach Program (COP) of the UCSF Memory and Aging Center (UCSF MAC). The COP is a dynamic, interdisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to promoting brain health through clinical care, community-based education, and community art programs in the San Francisco Bay Area. Within the COP is Creative Minds (CM), the San Francisco community arts for brain health initiative. Established in 2020, Creative Minds builds on the longstanding partnerships of the COP to offer arts-based engagements that incorporate brain health education by MAC clinicians as well as connections to research and clinical care at UCSF.
The Creative Minds Program Assistant works closely with COP and CM leadership to maintain continuity of community-based arts and brain health programs by supporting program operations, including maintaining records of program participation and collecting event metrics; by conducting program reporting using web-based platforms; by collecting data through questionnaires and interviews; by supporting the learning experience of COP observers such as Atlantic Fellows at the Global Brain Health Institute and UCSF medical students by supporting routine communications; by supporting event logistics such as transporting materials and / or event set-up and break-down; and by supporting routine day-to-day operations as needed.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $22.67 - $32.01 (Hourly Rate).
