As a Commercial Collateral Processing Specialist, you will be doing preparation of commercial collateral release requests in compliance with bank policy and procedures, regulatory guidelines and investor standards by gathering and reviewing necessary documents and information. Prepare applicable legal documents. Documents may include state-specific real estate forms, UCC terminations, motor vehicle releases, brokerage, and life insurance documents. Release negotiable / safekeeping collateral, ensuring compliance with internal procedures. Update tracking databases. Respond to escalation requests in a timely manner. Maintain department expectations for quality and productivity. Communicate with staff, customers / clients, realtors, brokers, legal counsel, title companies, etc. to respond to inquiries, resolve problems and obtain additional documents needed to complete release requests in a timely manner. This position is also responsible for more complex functions within the team including but not limited to Quality Review, Release Research, Note Sales, procedural updates, system testing, and special projects.

Schedule : Monday - Friday core hours 10am-3pm local time; as long as you complete 8 hour work shift

Location : 3 days in office (flexible) at Gresham or Tempe; 2 days remote

Basic Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Typically six to eight years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills / Experience :

  • Thorough knowledge of legal documents used to support applicable loan / lease processing
  • Ability to work with legal staff to solve complex documentation needs
  • Ability to apply critical thinking for all elements of loan documentation construction
  • Ability to master the bank's documentation software
  • Advanced knowledge of closing policies and procedures, funding policies, underwriting requirements, governmental and agency requirements, terminology and automated processing systems
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable credit policies and approval processes for assigned product(s)
  • Ability to work effectively and accurately in a fast paced, high production, professional environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Location Expectations : The role offers a hybrid / flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

  • The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range : $24.18 - $32.21
