Salesforce is looking for technically strong, energetic, highly collaborative, and passionate leaders to lead our software engineering teams! You will run and lead a team / teams of outstanding developers and keep quality in mind. We work in a collaborative environment, and we value open communication, feedback and making learning fun!

Your Impact :

• Participate in and lead critical architecture discussions and planning, ensuring technical decisions support long-term product success, stability, and scalability
• Proactively foresee and resolve systemic issues before they impact the product
• Advocate for technical excellence and guide teams toward resilient, high-quality engineering practices
• Lead multi-functional coordination, planning, and reviews with peers and leads across the organization to ensure smooth delivery and unified technical direction
• Act as a multiplier by providing exceptional mentorship, technical guidance, and career development .
• Empower teams to self-coordinate and maintain high morale.
• Actively participate in the hiring and interview process to maintain and grow a high-performance engineering culture.
• Partner closely with Product Owners (POs) and other stakeholders to align engineering efforts with product objectives, define clear priorities, manage tradeoffs, and communicate execution risks
• Occasionally contribute to deeply technical development tasks to maintain hands-on expertise and provide critical support.
• Ensure teams are equipped with clear priorities and adequate resources to maintain velocity and deliver committed outcomes
• Make critical, data-driven decisions that directly contribute to the success and reliability of the product

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,600 to $351,800.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $172,000 to $384,100.
