Description of Work
The Office of the State Auditor (OSA) is seeking a Data Acquisition Specialist to provide essential in both data acquisition and administrative functions.
As part of our team, you will get to :
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logisitcs for the OSA Data Analytics Division
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications
Orchestrate communications to auditee and internal data owners during data retrieval and data analysis projects
Prepare documentation for library of procedures for data retrievals and data analytics applications maintained by the Data Analytics Division
Assist in drafting divisional operating procedures

Salary Range : $48,222 - $84,388

This position is designated as Exempt Policy-Making under G.S. 126-5(c)(3) and is considered an at-will appointment.
OSA is the state's Fiscal Watchdog . We hold state government and entities that receive public money accountable, working on behalf of North Carolinians to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits including :

A bachelor's degree with 24 semester hours in accounting and 12 semester hours in information technology or computer & information security from an appropriately accredited institution

An equivalent combination of education and experience
