About the position

We're looking for a senior full stack engineer to help build new features within the platform while helping to guide key architectural and product decisions. This may morph quickly into a VP of Engineering or CTO role, depending on the candidate’s skill set but will still include IC work.

Our company is at a major inflection point where we expect to 8x our workload in the next 6-9 months, and we need to prepare for how we'd handle that type of scale while still maintaining pace with our roadmap and customer requests.

• Responsibilities :
• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails, React, and Tailwind CSS.
• Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces based on designs provided by our designers or customer requests.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Work independently to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
• Requirements :
• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, including some experience with the Hotwire stack
• Solid experience with React and Tailwind CSS, we sprinkle in React where it makes sense.
• Competent in backend development, including database design and API development.
• Experience scaling database in a fast growing company.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
