Requirements :
Minimum of 5 years of experience underwriting CRE loans in a commercial banking environmentBachelor's degree and formal credit training program preferredProficiency in financial statement analysis, loan structuring, and real estate valuation methodsExperience with borrowing base certificates, appraisals, rent rolls, and third-party CRE reportsKnowledge of regulatory guidelines and risk rating methodologiesStrong Excel and credit modeling skillsDescription :
Underwrite and structure commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, refinances, construction loans, and extensionsParticipate in client meetings and internal credit discussions to assess risk, guide loan structure, and ensure compliance with policyPrepare credit presentations and submit recommendations to appropriate credit authoritiesMonitor ongoing CRE loan portfolios for financial covenant compliance, maturing debt, collateral performance, and reporting requirementsAnalyze borrower financials, appraisals, rent rolls, and third-party reports to validate underwriting assumptions and risk exposureMaintain accurate and timely internal reports including criticized asset monitoring and risk ratingsCoordinate with relationship managers, risk officers, and asset managers to support deal execution and portfolio performanceContribute to special projects and portfolio reviews focused on CRE credit exposure and strategic risk management
