About You And This Role
You will provide specialized administrative support to the Maintenance and Engineering Director for Louisiana Operations. You will work with a limited degree of supervision, with full authority of the supported leader.
Responsibilities
You will :
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of role, work group, and computer applications to work independently, appropriately prioritize work and provide professional administrative support.
- Independently schedule meetings and events, book conference rooms, order food / drink, escort and manage visitor / guest process.
- Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of department or group events or special projects.
- Demonstrate clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Create open channels of communications to help the department understand and utilize information more effectively.
- Serve as the administrative point of contact with the ability to rapidly establish rapport within workgroup, leadership, and clients, internal and external.
- Display approachable demeanor to support an inclusive culture.
- Work effectively with others to meet or exceed organizational goals.
- Arrange complex domestic and international travel and prepare itinerary.
- Experienced with numerous business software applications and stay up to date on changing technology.
- Manage TER reporting, review and approve TERs on behalf of leader.
- Advocate for Dow's safety behaviors.
- Build and maintain relationships inside and outside natural workgroup to achieve a positive outcome.
- Promote partnerships within and between teams.
- Create open channels of communication to help the organization understand and utilize information more effectively.
- Demonstrate SME traits with MS Office platform, Dow Systems software and collaboration tools.
Qualifications
You must have :
A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.Proficiency in Microsoft application expertise, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain a TWIC card.Ability to work legally in the United States.Skills

Organizational Skills : Ability to prioritize tasks, manage complex calendars, and coordinate multiple projects.Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication.Problem-Solving and Decision-Making : Demonstrated capability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.Technical Proficiency : Expertise in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new internal systems and technologies.Time Management : Skilled at planning and executing tasks efficiently.This position does not offer relocation assistance.
