Position Overview

The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Human Resources Specialist for the Murray Developmental Center located in Centralia Illinois to serve as Labor Relations Administrator. Serves as advisor to the Center Director and other administrative staff on labor relations. Administers all negotiated collective bargaining agreements affecting the Center. Schedules and chairs labor management meetings. Serves as full-line supervisor. Assists in the development of written policies and procedures related to employee / management issues.

Essential Functions

• Serves as Labor Relations Administrator for the Murray Developmental Center.
• Schedules and chairs labor management meetings.
• Serves as Managements Administrator on all discipline.
• Serves as full-line supervisor.
• Assists in the development of written policies and procedures related to employee / management issues.
• Serves on various facility committees.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.
