Electro-Mechanical Technician

This is a contract position with an opportunity to be hired full-time.

Integrity Trade Services is working with a technology company to find an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to join their Mechanical Assembly team.

Job Title : Electro-Mechanical Technician

Location : Cedar Park, TX 78613

Pay Rate :  $24 / hr DOE

Job Description :

Read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine assembly methods and parts needed (30%)

Install electrical / electronic components using soldering tools and hand tools (30%)

Verify part dimensions and tolerances using precision measurement tools (10%)

Assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools, templates, and fixtures (10%)

Perform functional testing of electromechanical assemblies using oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and other instruments (10%)

Program boards and drives to ensure proper operation (10%)

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED

2–3 years of experience as an Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Technician

Preferred Skills :

Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

Ability to distinguish between different screw types (metric vs. standard)

Proficient in using hand and power tools

Able to read tape measures (standard and metric) and perform basic conversions

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and 5S principles is a plus

Work Environment & Physical Demands :

Primarily indoor work environment

Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 10 lbs

Exposure to mechanical and electrical components

Moderate noise levels from machinery

Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required

Occasional kneeling, squatting, and climbing

Continuous wrist, hand, and finger movements while working with tools and components

Tools & Equipment Used :

Hand and power tools (drills, saws, screwdrivers, etc.)

Measurement and testing instruments

Personal computer and office equipment

Cleaning tools and air hoses

Additional Notes :

Must be able to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Will be responsible for keeping work area clean and organized

May be required to assist in training other technicians

Must be willing to perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
