Mine Engineer

Southlands Engineering, LLC is seeking a Mine Engineer based in our Tucson office to be responsible for coordinating and managing projects related to vertical drilling operations and mine maintenance projects at various mine locations throughout the State of Arizona. Will supervise eight (8) subordinate employees.

REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mining / Geological Engineering or related field + Five (5) years of wrk exp developing plans for project development related to support of short & long-range planning & production goals; participating in engineering feasibility studies to define mining methods, equipment selection, mine site facilities, & manpower & production requirements; assisting in the preparation of detailed project design for various facilities in the mineral processing chain; and assisting in developing & managing mine ventilation, waste dumps, & stockpile designs. Travel to various mine locations throughout the State of Arizona as required per project.
