Your Role in Our Journey

Jane is building its most requested customer feature - 2-way SMS messaging - as part of a bold vision to create a unified healthcare communications platform that will revolutionize how clinics connect with patients, and differentiate Jane in a competitive market. This is a high impact, high visibility opportunity to lead a top-tier strategic initiative.

As a Group Product Manager, you will oversee a broader Communications team, that includes 2-way SMS and Patient Communications. You will oversee the integration of 2-way SMS into Jane's ecosystem while defining and articulating a compelling vision for our entire healthcare communications platform. You will also be responsible for driving our broader communication strategy that goes beyond implementing a new messaging channel - you'll architect a comprehensive, healthcare-specific communications system that balances robust security with user convenience while significantly reducing administrative workload for practitioners.

The Impact You Could Have

Lead the integration of 2-way SMS while defining and driving the vision for Jane’s healthcare communications platform.

Directly manage and mentor Product Managers, empowering them to deliver against ambitious product goals.

Architect secure, user-friendly communication solutions that reduce administrative workload for practitioners.

Ensure all messaging channels—SMS, email, and beyond—align with Jane’s broader communications strategy and long-term differentiation.

Balance near‑term delivery with long‑term strategy, navigating technical complexity with clarity and conviction.

Build strong cross‑functional partnerships with design, engineering, and other teams to ensure seamless workflow integration.

Champion practitioner‑first solutions by embedding communication tools directly into daily operations.

The Experience We Feel We Need

Extensive product management experience with demonstrated success in building complex software products.

Experience working on communications platforms, API integrations, or healthcare technology.

Proven experience as a people manager of Product Managers, with the ability to coach, mentor, and elevate a team.

Proven track record of leading cross‑functional teams and driving alignment across multiple stakeholders.

Solid technical background with the ability to understand and articulate technical concepts.

Experience with modern messaging technologies and understanding of their security implications.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate complex ideas into clear narratives.

Data‑driven approach to problem solving with experience using metrics to guide decision‑making.

Adaptability and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment with evolving priorities.

At Jane, we’re committed to paying fairly, clearly, and above all, paying for growth. This role has an annual salary range of

$146,400 to $228,600 . While that is a large range, it is intentional. It reflects the full growth journey someone might take in the role, from developing skills early on to becoming highly proficient and ultimately achieving excellence.

Most new hires join at the

accomplished

stage, which for this role represents an annual salary of

$173,800 . A starting salary below this typically indicates a candidate with strong potential who is still developing key skills. Salaries above this usually apply to existing team members who have made a significant impact and bring deep Jane‑specific knowledge.
