Position Details :

RN - Psych Inpatient Adult - Fort Wayne, IN

Location : 1720 Beacon Street, Fort Wayne, IN, 46805

Shift Timing : 7pm-7am EST

Project Duration : Fulltime / Permanent job

Sign-on Bonus : Up to $12,000

Relocation Bonus : $2,500 - $5,000

Job Summary :

  • Provide care and emotional support to patients who are recovering from an injury or illness.
  • Work with patients to help them regain their strength and independence.
  • Collaborate with others to create individualized plans that meet the needs of each patient.
  • Educate patients and their families about the recovery process.
  • Inform patients about what to expect during rehabilitation and how to cope with challenges.
  • Teach patients and their families how to prevent further injuries or illnesses.
  • Ensure patients are receiving the best possible care from their healthcare team.
  • Communicate with insurance companies so patients receive the coverage they need

Job Requirements :

  • Previous Inpatient Psych experience preferred
  • BLS required
  • IN or compact RN license
  • Requires a Diploma in nursing or an ASN / BSN
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with 100 pounds.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
