Responsibilities and Duties
Admit patients with cardiac and general medical issues, including preoperative and postoperative careManage cardiology inpatients requiring advanced interventionsOversee patients on cardiac drips and ventilatorsCare for patients with PEG tubes, chest tubes, and central linesRead and interpret cardiac stripsAdminister moderate sedation and perform bedside proceduresManage patients with pacemakersDemonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing shift assignments and patient needsAdditional Information
Active New York PA license requiredBoard certification in Cardiology requiredExperience with cardiac drips, vents, PEG tubes, chest tubes, central lines, cardiac strips, moderate sedation, bedside procedures, and pacemakers is essentialFlexibility to work both day and night shifts as needed by the hospitalBenefits
