Summary
The Infrastructure Manager oversees and supports the Enterprise’s technology infrastructure, including systems, enterprise applications, and networks. This role ensures a secure, stable, and high-performing environment by managing deployments, configurations, administration, and monitoring in a 24 / 7 operation, aligned with policies and applicable laws.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises and manages the daily activities of the Network Administrators, System Administrators, and Supervisors in the completion of assigned projects and tasks in a timely manner. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Enterprise’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation, and ongoing support of the Enterprise's network and systems infrastructure. Duties include, but are not limited to :
Infrastructure & Operations
- Manage the design, implementation, and administration of integrated network, systems, and communication technologies.
- Ensure infrastructure performance, reliability, and security through monitoring, policy adherence, and uptime tracking.
- Develop and implement network standards, procedures, and operational best practices.
- Maintain accountability for all enterprise IT hardware, including coordination with the IT Support team for end-user devices.
- Provide critical response availability in the event of system-wide failures or threats to the Enterprise.
Security, Compliance & Governance
Ensure operational and security controls are in place to protect enterprise information assets.Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive data and enforce compliance with internal controls, change management procedures, and regulatory requirements.Ensure backups are complete, compliant, and recoverable.Financial & Procurement Oversight
Lead infrastructure budget planning, development, and administration.Track expenditures, manage forecasts, and ensure financial objectives are met.Conduct annual evaluations of hardware / software needs and oversee procurement in line with project goals and SLAs.Oversee vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, issue resolution, maintenance agreements, and compliance with procurement policies.Project & Resource Management
Oversee infrastructure-related projects using standard project lifecycle practices.Ensure alignment of IT initiatives with Enterprise goals through regular engagement with executives, managers, and departments.Coordinate resource allocation and ensure project timelines, scopes, and outcomes are met.Leadership & Team Development
Supervise and support Infrastructure team members, including Systems and Network Administrators and Supervisors.Coach, mentor, and guide staff; conduct regular one-on-ones and support performance management processes.Promote continuous improvement, accountability, and alignment with Enterprise values.Support recruitment and development of Community members in alignment with Indian Preference policies.Communication & Strategy
Provide regular updates to the IT Director, including project status, team activities, and critical incidents.Recommend and evaluate new technologies aligned with Enterprise objectives.Participate in long-term IT architecture planning in coordination with senior technical staff.Additional Responsibilities
Enforce departmental, regulatory, and enterprise policies, including the gaming compact and Community and federal laws.Stay current on relevant technologies, industry trends, and internal communications to maintain operational effectiveness.Education and / or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.Minimum of eight years of experience managing enterprise network infrastructure, systems, and teams.Strong background in vendor and project management.Proven knowledge of Windows-based infrastructure, Active Directory, and Azure environments.Experience with user provisioning, firewall and network administration, and communication protocols.Ability to manage complex projects and multitask in a fast-paced environment.Skilled in contract negotiation, change management, and facilitation.Advanced written and verbal communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Computer Skills
Expertise in Microsoft technologies, including the full suite of desktop and server products, Active Directory, and Azure. Skilled in architecting and deploying complex network infrastructure solutions, with deep knowledge of network, storage, compute systems, and cloud integration.
Experienced with VoIP and voice-data communications systems. Ability to interpret and apply technical content from professional journals, business publications, and regulatory materials. Familiarity with integration strategies across diverse platforms and environments.
Other Qualifications
Proven experience managing IT infrastructure projects from design through implementation and ongoing support.Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, manage budgets, and align technology initiatives with business goals.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to both executive and technical audiences.Strong leadership, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills are essential. Customer service orientation and a team-focused mindset are critical for success in this role.A high degree of professionalism and autonomy is required, along with the ability to work effectively under pressure and within time constraints.Experience building vendor relationships and navigating cross-functional business needs is expected.
