Packaging Operator

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Packaging department. This role involves basic packaging, kitting, boxing, operating a machine to print barcodes on labels, and handling shipping duties. You will prepare products, such as rolls of barcode stickers, for customer delivery. Some tasks will include shrink-wrapping and basic production labor. While the duties can be repetitive, cross-training in different areas within the Finishing Department is provided. A strong attention to detail is essential for quality assurance.

Pay : $19

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic packaging, kitting, and boxing tasks.
  • Operate machines to print barcodes on labels.
  • Handle shipping duties and prepare products for delivery.
  • Engage in shrink-wrapping and basic production labor.
  • Participate in cross-training within the Finishing Department.
  • Ensure quality assurance with a strong attention to detail.
  • Meet quota numbers for rolls packaged, with 300 rolls expected during training and up to 400 rolls regularly.

Essential Skills

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Experience in assembly, packaging, or similar fields.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs, with hoist assistance available.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prefer at least 1 year of experience in assembly or packaging.

    Work Environment

Shift hours are 6am - 3pm Monday to Thursday and 6am - 12pm on Friday, or 3pm - 1 : 30am Monday to Thursday.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 / hr.
