TRUSS DESIGNER

Looking for an experienced  Truss Designer  specializing in the design and fabrication of high-quality truss systems for  residential ,  commercial , and  industrial  construction projects.

Position Overview :   As a Truss Designer, you will play a critical role in developing efficient and cost-effective truss designs that meet structural requirements, building codes, and client specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural engineering principles, truss software proficiency, and a keen eye for detail to ensure quality and safety standards.

Truss Designer  Key Responsibilities :

• Design roof and floor truss systems based on project specifications, architectural drawings, and engineering requirements.
• Utilize industry-standard software such as  MiTek ,  Alpine , or  AutoCAD  to create accurate truss layouts, designs, and shop drawings.
• Analyze structural loads, material constraints, and building codes to optimize truss systems for performance and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and production teams to ensure alignment with project goals and deadlines.
• Review and revise truss designs based on client feedback or site adjustments while maintaining structural integrity.
• Prepare material takeoffs and cost estimates for truss components to assist in project budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with local and national building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
• Address and resolve design-related challenges during fabrication or installation phases.
