Electrical Assembler I - Contractor

JOB PURPOSE :

Responsible for production of manufactured electromechanical environmental monitoring instrumentation. The main function of the role is to ensure that all manufactured / serviced items are built / serviced, calibrated and tested to ensure optimum quality for the customer. Work is to be completed to a high standard with zero defects. Examples of activities include manufacturing & servicing (to work instruction) of GA, Gxxx, Fixed Position Systems, etc. Completion of associated paperwork and IT requirements.

The Electrical Assembler is responsible for the quality of the products / goods produced. The electrical assembler will assemble subassemblies, final assemblies, complete associate paperwork including documenting serial numbers for part tracing, load firmware / software, and conduct required testing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

• Must have experience working with PCB, electrical wiring, and electrical components
• Strong soldering and de-soldering skills

Solder / Mount assembled components, such as, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits and sockets on chassis panels & on PCBs.

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and / or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
