Duration : 3-month contract

Job Description :

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of field-testing activities for hardware and software systems. This role serves as the central point of communication between engineering teams, test sites, and stakeholders while maintaining strict security protocols and ensuring alignment with product development timelines.

Note :

Preference for Santa Cruz, CA, with 2–3 days per month in Sunnyvale. Open to Sunnyvale as the main location, with 2–3 days per month in Santa Cruz.

This position may require up to 25% travel to testing sites and partner facilities. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of program management experience, technical expertise, and strong organizational skills to drive successful testing operations while maintaining strict confidentiality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement comprehensive field-testing strategies across multiple product lines
  • Orchestrate cross-functional teams during complex in-field testing operations
  • Manage relationships with testing facilities and partner organizations
  • Create and execute risk mitigation strategies for field testing activities
  • Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting of test results
  • Coordinate logistics for in-field device deployment and testing operations
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning, execution, and processes

Required Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of program management experience in technical environments
  • Proven track record in managing field testing programs
  • Experience with prototype testing and validation
  • Excellence in stakeholder communication and management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent efforts
  • Experience with data management and security protocols

  • Strong organizational skills

    • Nice to have :

  • Background in operations management
  • Strong technical background in engineering or a related field
  • Experience with automated testing tools and platforms
  • Degree in a technical field
  • Previous experience planning and / or executing software or hardware field testing
