Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our RN Procedural Periop you will provide high-quality skilled nursing services essential for assisting patients to achieve optimum health functional status and safe passage through invasive or interventional procedures during episodic or series of visits. You will leverage your expertise across multiple dimensions of nursing practice driven by the unique and often complex needs of each patient ensuring optimal outcomes through effective nurse and patient synergies.

Every day you will utilize the nursing process through :

• Skilled assessment
• Triage
• Education
• Collaboration
• Coordination of healthcare and community resources to support patients in achieving an optimal level of wellness throughout their procedural experience.

This may involve demonstrating technical expertise in areas such as Periop PACU and other procedural settings while continuously assisting patients families staff and systems to achieve high-quality evidence-based cost-effective and patient-focused outcomes by integrating knowledge skills experience and attitudes.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate clinical proficiency in procedural and potentially Periop / PACU environments. You will exhibit exceptional assessment critical thinking and communication skills coupled with a deep understanding of patient needs across the health-to-illness continuum and a commitment to providing patient-centered safe and effective care.
