As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. By conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence, you help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, staff, and / or students with directions and general inquiries as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and location staff to support a secure environment.
  • Complete all required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field are required.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
