Moseley Technical Services is seeking a Software Engineer who is experienced in Test Automation to support software testing activities on the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS). The software test automation engineer works in Agile-based process within a disciplined DevSecOps environment to provide high-quality software products for the program.

Responsibilities :

Design and implement automated test scripts using Python

Support test automation for GUI-driven applications using tools such as Eggplant

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective software integration, verification, and validation

Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) , including requirements, design, implementation, testing, and deployment

Operate within a DevSecOps framework using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Subversion, Bamboo, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, and Coverity

Work within Agile Scrum teams to deliver test solutions aligned with program-level needs

Contribute to improving automation frameworks, test coverage, and defect resolution

Qualifications :

• Citizenship is required by Federal Law
• Active Secret Clearance is required
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of related experience (Or 3+ years with a Master’s)
• Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, and deployment
• Recent development using Python
• Recent experience in software development related to Test Automation
• Experience / Exposure to Test Automated GUI driven tools – Eggplant specifically
• Experience working in an Agile environment using Jira, Confluence, Crucible, Bitbucket, Subversion, Bamboo, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Fortify, or Coverity
• Proven ability to work across product teams to produce program level solutions
