The  Instructional Designer  is responsible for creating engaging and effective training courses for the Vistex suite of products. This team member will work collaboratively with key stakeholders and Training team to develop strategic learning plans for standard and custom training courses by leveraging instructional design methodology. The ideal candidate is someone who believes training should motivate and support participants in their job responsibilities. As part of our rapidly growing team, the Instructional Designer is expected to be self-motivated and highly driven to increase the knowledge of our customers and employees.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with product specialists, customers, and trainers to develop accurate, effective, and timely curriculums that meet internal and external needs.
  • Develop training materials (presenter decks, instructor guides, exercises, job aids, videos, eLearning, quizzes, and other supporting materials) for instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced courses utilizing department templates and guidelines.
  • Materials will include the business need for Vistex software as well as the technical configuration steps to implement and utilize the system at the customer’s site.
  • Produce design plans targeted to different audiences based on performance needs which integrate appropriate media and a variety of adult learning techniques.
  • Create delta classes and update training material as new releases of software are rolled out using rapid development strategies.
  • Manage projects through all phases of their life cycle, including project initiation and requirements gathering, design, development, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Apply sound project management and instructional design principles to motivate participants and lead the project to conclusion.
  • Facilitate course pilot, train-the-trainer and end user training as assigned.
  • Analyze existing training to identify end-user needs and develop strategies to improve courses and documentation.
  • Complete related duties as assigned.

The compensation for this position is $65k to $75k annually. Base pay will vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s location, job-related knowledge, skills and work experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus.
