The Event Producer provides customer-centric event production services and overall event support at the highest level possible, for the IT Services Event Productions team and its customers. Successful team members will be able to step seamlessly into a corporate events environment, have strong organizational skills, ability to work across multiple teams and cultures, demonstrate impeccable customer service, and be energetically driven to meet the needs of customers and the team.
Responsibilities include :
- Supports Producer team and customers, daily
- Coordinates meetings effectively; provides supporting documentation and aligns stakeholders
- Maintains multiple meetings operations calendars and databases
- Improves efficiencies, and works to optimize standard processes
- Coordinates and improves project-related data and reporting
- Works on defined projects, with straightforward goals
- Able to identify blockers, troubleshoot effectively, and facilitate progress
- Seeks opportunities to help others improve skillsets and knowledge base
- Supports producer operations at new event venues and locations
Pre-event :
Assists and leads customer planning meetings and walk-throughsEvent script preparation and distribution to production engineersCoordinates vendor estimates and labor costsCoordinates technical resource scheduling for equipment and laborCoordinates any necessary technical testing or technical rehearsalsAble to support media playback and presentation methodsClearly communicates with all team members and stakeholdersCoordinates personal travel arrangements, schedules, and expensesEvent execution :
Dedicated onsite support for assigned customersCoordination of technical services for assigned events and relevant facility operationsOptimizes audio, video, lighting and staging for the best quality attainableSupports greater Producer team with occasional show calling and onsite operationsDynamically flex to customer needs and adapt to complicationsPost-event :
Supports proper strike of event venueAssists with post-event reportingAssists with any post-event customer needsCoordinates any post-event expendituresThis position will primarily be executing events in HQ2's smaller event venue, with some flexing into the large venue and other venues across AMER.
About the team
Event Productions' Venue Operations team of engineers, system engineers, and producers work daily with the installed production equipment and internal / external customers, helping to plan and execute each event within the space.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of program or project management experience2+ years in event or production coordinationFamiliarity with run-of-show documentationAbility to learn how to call a showProficiency with livestreaming, audio, video, lighting and staging systems.Scheduling and calendaring managementFamiliar will event billing processesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
