job_description.job_card.job_descriptionEducation : Successful completion of an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree or graduation from an American Medical Association (AMA)-approved Radiation Therapy Program is required. Licensure : Must hold a current and active license issued by New York State (NYS) in Radiation Therapy Technology. Experience : Must have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a radiation therapy setting. Technical Skills : Must have strong knowledge of safety protocols and maintenance for high-voltage, state-of-the-art radiation equipment. Administer targeted radiation treatments Operate / maintain advanced radiation equipment Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols Position patients accurately for therapy Document treatment delivery and patient responses Collaborate with oncology teams on plan adjustments
