About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 06 : 45 - 17 : 15

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in CVOR

License : GA or Compact license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, CNOR, TNCC

Must-Have : Previous charge experience preferred

Description :

Unit details include weekend call requirements.

Travelers may have to float within facility and scope of practice as needed.

Unit accepts first-time travelers with a minimum of two years of experience.

If major holidays occur during the assignment period, travelers are expected to work on those holidays.

Compliance with requirements is necessary to start on time.

Minimal non-billable orientation hours are determined by contract length.

Two supervisory references preferred at the time of submission.

Candidates must complete and schedule core items within a timely manner to ensure an on-time start.

Candidates should be available to work the required number of major holidays during the assignment period.

All documents must be completed by the submission deadline to meet compliance standards.

Travelers should have a maximum of seven days for requested time off.

No holiday time off can be requested if one or two major holidays occur during the assignment period.

If three major holidays occur, travelers are expected to work two of them, with one holiday request available for approval.

Core competencies include patient care in the CVOR setting, infection control, and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams.

Required skills include administration of blood products, participation in various cardiac surgeries, and adherence to universal protocols.

Support services include physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and more to assist in patient care.
