Job Title : Civil Project Manager

Job Summary : Work encompasses all aspects of project management and engineering of residential commercial municipal and institutional projects.

Essential Duties : This position requires the following essential duties :

• Representing Johnson Engineering as district engineer for Community Development Districts (CDDs). Ability to understand construction plans permits and plats to determine CDDs responsibilities. Comfortable attending and speaking at public CDD board meetings.
• Ability to write technical reports scopes of work letters project summaries and emails.
• Assemble bid packages and request for proposals (RFPs).
• Project management assistance on various types of land development projects including client coordination contract negotiation developing and maintaining project schedules construction administration and maintaining project budgets.
• Overseeing CAD designers and project coordination with other departments professions and agencies.
• Coordinating permit technicians and administration in completing permit applications and moving permit application process forward.
• Construction observations preparing field observation reports of construction activity and witnessing critical tasks during construction.
