Job Title : Validation and Verification Engineer - AE Defense Working Pattern : Full time Working location : Indianapolis, IN / Hybrid - 3 Office Days / Week)The AE Defense V&V Engineer is responsible for ensuring that Rolls-Royce has sufficient oversight for our products to meet business, customer and regulatory requirements. The role will coordinate and execute key technical activities for the AE Defense programs. • Lead the technical program management and engineering efforts for AE 3007 defense projects and develop / communicate the plan and budget for delivering improvements to cost and schedule
• Lead the application of Systems Engineering to elicit, influence, and manage engine-level business and technical requirements and allocate requirements to sub-system level
• Lead qualification activities for AE 3007N engine program in support of the Boeing MQ-25 Stingray.
• Lead the technical activities of a multi-functional team that delivers engineering solutions for development projects, root-cause investigations, and corrective action implementation
• Represent the engine program in technical meetings with customers, operators, and airworthiness authorities.
