This vital role will be responsible for prospecting, attending networking events, preparing proposals and closing deals. By understanding clients’ insurance needs, providing expert advice, and creating tailored solutions, they will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets and fostering long-term client satisfaction and retention.

About the Role :
- Prospecting (60%) Warm transfer leads will be provided, 50% or more come from cold calls and Networking. This percentage may change as the Agency grows.
- Daily cold calling required from verified prospect lists Join, participate, and attend community and networking events as well as be a member of professional organizations to promote the Agency, generate leads, and build a pipeline Develop and participate in marketing campaigns Active on LinkedIn - engage with prospects / clients Become a trusted advisor by providing patience, understanding, high communication and solutions that fit their unique needs Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell to current Agency client base Obtain accurate information from the prospects, including the completion of applications, supplemental questionnaires, risk surveys and other related documentation Promptly address phone, e-mail, or site visit questions and concerns during process Input and maintain Opportunities that are accurate and up to date, with all communications (emails / calls).
- Effectively X-Date all referrals, cold calls, and all other prospects to track, monitor, and report on weekly / monthly prospecting activity and sales results to their direct supervisor Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics Develop and establish referral partners and request referrals from new customers and associates and respond to the referrals in a timely manner Proposal Process and Presentation (25%) Prepare and present customized insurance policy options to clients, including coverage, benefits, and premiums following agency standard procedures Prepare and provide customized insurance quotes based on selected coverages Provides complete and comprehensive submissions to Underwriters and responds promptly to requests for additional information.
- Accurately documents coverage discussions.
- Submits new business paperwork to Operations as instructed.
- Demonstrates the ability to close the sale.
- Customer Retention (10%) Build rapport and a positive relationship with clients throughout the policy term.
- Handle escalated client issues Conduct check-in calls Engage current clients during each call for referrals General Duties (5%) Stay informed about industry trends, products, and regulatory changes, maintains adequate knowledge of procedures, and coverages, to effectively manage, maintain and develop client relationships.
- Must attend daily, weekly, and monthly staff meetings.
Promptly submit onboard sheet with quote and signed documentation to Operations as directed Completes all other duties as assigned within the physical specifications of this job description Establish positive relationships with underwriters and producers. About You :
