Responsible to interview, select, train, supervise, counsel discipline FOH staffInstitute ongoing training programs for making sure that the highest quality service standards are being obtained, including developing new training materialsResponsible to organize & conduct pre-shift as well as other meetings communicating pertinent information to the staff, like house count menu changes, customer feedback, and improvement opportunityResponsible to schedule direct staff in their work assignmentsInteract positively with guests promoting services; resolving problems to the satisfaction of involved partiesResponsible to answer telephones, coordinate customer request, resolve conflicts, and manage reservationsAssist GM on managing the wine and bar programOrganize special events in the restaurant and offsiteMaintain rapport with all teams and help drive the Makiin hospitality cultureEnsure proper operating process are in place and followedResponsible to monitor as well as take action to make sure food quality service standards are metResponsible to verify temperatures, judge appearance as well as the taste of products check preparation methods to define qualityResponsible to give guidance towards improvements make necessary adjustments for consistencyHelp G.M manage payroll processes – time entries, tip management on a daily basisHelp G.M manage P&L and cost optimization, evaluate the cost-effectiveness of all aspects of the operation, develop as well as implement cost-saving profit-enhancing measuresResponsible to create forecast as well as revenue reports write correspondenceResponsible for restaurant marketing, including digital marketing, website, and social media managementResponsible to manage and maintain an online ordering systemAdhere to all safety and sanitation regulation per company’s standard and health codeManage restaurant reputation - including responding to web inquiries, and reviews on OpenTable, Yelp, Popmenu, Google Business, and UberEatResponsible to maximize revenue and profitabilityManage restaurant operating processes, POS system, online ordering system, inventoryRequirements :
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in restaurant management in a fine dining concept.Store volume sales +3MMExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situationsStrong customer service mindset and the ability to handle customer complaints effectivelyKnowledge of health and safety regulations and licensing requirements for restaurantsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work evenings, weekends, and Holidays as requiredMust be eligible to work in United StatesMust agree to a background checkExperience level :
2+ years’ experience in managing a team of 25+ employees2+ years’ experience as restaurant manager in a fine dining restaurant with +3MM in sales.Working knowledge of business and softwareWorking knowledge of POS and inventory systemsWine and liquors knowledge is a plusJob Type : Full-time
