Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Essington, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, including processing invoices, reconciling transactions, and ensuring accurate and timely payments. This position plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting vendor relationships.

Responsibilities :

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports for timely payment.
• Match invoices to corresponding purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Ensure all payments are processed in compliance with company policies and approval guidelines.
• Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks, electronic transfers, and wire payments.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, communicating effectively with vendors as necessary.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and support month-end closing procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records and documentation.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and a strong command of Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
