Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $1,913 per week in Cornelius, NC

Familiarity with critical care medications, sedation, and management of invasive lines. Experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation and ventilator management. Description : We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of ICU experience. This role requires knowledge of critical care treatments and procedures. Common patient diagnoses may include sepsis, ARDS, GI bleeds, DKA, and renal failure. Patient ratios are typically 1 : 1 to 1 : 2 depending on acuity. A Certified Nursing Assistant will assist with turning, feeding, and mobility tasks. The nurse will be responsible for managing blood products, wound care, and dressing changes. The position includes a charge nurse present 24 / 7. Support from respiratory therapy and hospitalists is available around the clock. Floating to other facilities within the regional network may be required. Travel between facilities mid-shift will be compensated. Schedules are standardized with a weekend rotation every other week. Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays. Requests for time off will be considered, with a limit on the number of days off. Scrub color required for this position is navy.
