POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY :
- The position requires an understanding of the Global Retail Market and NCR in-order to develop and manage opportunities to grow revenue and improve margins
- Pre-installation consultation : Assess customer site needs and technical requirements to determine appropriate equipment configuration. Review installation plans and identify potential challenges. Provide detailed information on system functionality and user training expectations
- Installation support : Collaborate with installation technicians to ensure proper equipment setup and wiring. Address technical questions and concerns during installation process. Troubleshoot installation issues and provide solutions.
- Post-installation guidance : Conduct system testing and verification with the customer. Provide comprehensive user training on system operation and features. Address customer concerns and resolve post-installation technical issues.
- Technical expertise : Maintain in-depth knowledge of product specifications, technical capabilities, and installation procedures. Stay updated on Retail industry trends and new store technologies to advise customers effectively. Interpret technical documentation and provide clear explanations to customers.
- Onboard New Offerings to Service Portfolio : Work with Partners / OEM’s to standardize deployment process, tools and materials as part of new service offerings.Accountability for Cost Reduction for the portfolio
Required Skills :
Strong technical knowledge in relevant field (e.g., networking, audio-visual systems, security systems)15+ Year of experience in networking and installing cablingRetail store environment installation experience requiredRCDD certification requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and technical teamsProblem-solving abilities to troubleshoot installation issuesAbility to read and interpret technical documentationCustomer service orientation with a focus on customer satisfactionAbility to work independently and as part of a teamSuccessfully managed complex programs across multiple organizationsThe following specific experience would be advantageous :
Domain knowledge in Retail
Knowledge of NCR product platforms and solutions
Technical knowledge of Retail architectures and Devices
