• Great schedule! Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday, 8am-5 : 00pm at East Baltimore Medical Center (1000 East Eager St., Baltimore, MD 21202)

As a Bilingual Medical Office Assistant, you'll :

• Provide excellent customer service to our patients at our East Baltimore Medical Center Adult Medicine in partnership with Baltimore Medical System another local health system, that provides much-needed healthcare services to the community.
• Receive incoming and make outbound telephone calls to schedule appointments, process patient medication refills, process referrals, and take messages for the providers.
• Check patients in and out.
• Verify insurance and collect demographics.

What You'll Need to be Successful :

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years experience in healthcare or customer service preferred.

EPIC experience is very helpful!

• Bilingual in Spanish & English required!
• Ability to successfully pass all required training to obtain security access to perform role. Includes, but not limited to : Electronic medical record training, Insurance training-foundations, government and commercial.

About us :

Salary Range : Minimum 16.86 per hour - Maximum 27.84 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
