Job Overview
To lead the West Market unit with the goal of realising the vision of the Intelligent Enterprise, driving a consultative, value‑based sales cycle and positioning SAP Services as the differentiated partner for clients accelerating digital transformation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed research and comprehensive analysis on clients' industry, business imperatives and challenges to drive demand generation.
- Develop territory and account plans leveraging all available assets (lines of service, marketing events, delivery resources) to represent pipeline growth and business opportunities.
- Build strong internal relationships with license / cloud sales, alliance partners, services delivery, and product management.
- Be an expert in sales execution by understanding the customer’s decision‑making process and developing relationships with key decision‑makers and progressing deals through the sales cycle.
- Build, progress, and convert pipeline maintained in CRM. Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports and forecasts.
- Willingness to coach and mentor incoming talent.
Experience and Role Requirements
Minimum 8‑10 years of experience in sales or business development activities including opportunity generation, bid management, deal closure, and relationship management.Experience with SAP products or enterprise business application software or implementation preferred.Prior sales experience within the West Market desired; demonstrated success.Ability to project a professional presence while preparing and conducting presentations during all phases of the relationship.Possess an understanding of key negotiation terms and conditions and a general understanding of contractual structures for complex consulting engagements.Adapt and function effectively and independently in a fast‑paced, changing environment.Strong business acumen with the ability to demonstrate how services will generate significant value and ROI.Compensation
Targeted combined range : $233,700 – $397,300 USD. Actual offer will be within this range and depend on education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, and other factors.
