Shop Laborer

We are seeking a versatile Shop Laborer to join a small, dedicated team in a metal supply warehouse. This role involves working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse (60,000 sq. ft.) and supporting various operations, including :

• Pulling materials, tagging items, and preparing skids
• Packaging and sewing corrugated boxes for metal sheets
• Following work orders (part, pattern, sheet size, quantity)
• Maintaining inventory and safety compliance metrics
• Operating forklifts (company will recertify if needed)
• Heavy lifting and material handling
• Training on tools and equipment : forklift, shear saws, grinder
• Occasional local deliveries using company pickup truck

Job Type & Location : This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits : The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
