Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant :

Assist Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans.

Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility interventions.

Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT.

Educate patients and families on exercises and rehabilitation techniques.

Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient responses.

Ensure a safe and supportive therapy environment.

Requirements :

Minimum 1 year of PTA experience.

Active New Jersey PTA license (or ability to obtain).

Current BLS certification.

Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills.
