We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will provide critical support for business applications, ensuring their stability, efficiency, and alignment with organizational needs. This position requires strong technical expertise, effective collaboration with stakeholders, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Prior experience in the gaming and hospitality space supporting front of house, hotel facing applications will be required.

Responsibilities :

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned application environments, providing deep technical and functional knowledge.
  • Collaborate with product management teams and vendors to define, document, and deliver technical and functional requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into system specifications and actionable software solutions.
  • Provide Level 2 application support and participate in rotational on-call schedules to ensure system availability.
  • Lead and manage short-term projects (1–3 months) while balancing ongoing application support responsibilities.
  • Assist in project modeling, solution sizing, and contribute to business case development.
  • Develop evaluation criteria to support and assess deployed solutions.
  • Create and implement solutions that may include systems development, process improvements, or strategic planning.
  • Maintain documentation and build a comprehensive knowledge base for assigned applications and systems.
  • Support multiple initiatives concurrently, including application enhancements, requirements gathering, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong proficiency in Active Directory and related technologies.
  • Experience with Dell Technologies and computer hardware solutions.
  • Proven expertise in application support and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Cisco technologies and networking concepts.
  • Ability to critically evaluate information from multiple sources and synthesize actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business requirements effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in requirement gathering, workflow analysis, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
