Basic Job Functions :
- Assembling components and ensuring that all parts are fitted correctly
- Control and adjust equipment settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely manner
- Assemble fabricated parts, components, or other units
- Align materials and assemble parts to build units
- Handle fiberglass / insulation
- Work with various chemicals including adhesives and hardeners
- Use hand and power tools to cut, drill, grind, and fasten materials
- Use simple measurement instruments such as tape measures and scales to verify correct product build specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- General housekeeping duties (sweeping, emptying trash,
- Support other departments when work is slow in assembly
- Occasionally driving forklift
- Performs related duties as assigned by supervision
