Wieland is hiring a Tax Analyst . The Tax Analyst will be responsible for performing indirect and direct tax compliance projects, and will work closely with the Senior Tax Analyst, Tax Manager, as well as a team of internal professionals and external tax service providers. This role requires a hands-on supporting role for indirect tax and unclaimed property requirements. The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys an excellent work environment and the challenge to learn and advance their career. The role will reside in the Wieland North American headquarters in Louisville, KY, and can include a remote or hybrid option.

Responsibilities

Tax Analyst Responsibilities :

Indirect Taxes

• Support the processing of data used to complete the required Sales & Use Tax filings throughout North America.
• Work with external tax service providers to ensure the timely filing of various tax filings as well as prepare some filings internally (e.g. capital, property tax, sales & use, excise, etc.)
• Work with the legal department to ensure the accuracy of information required for business registrations and annual reports.
• Unclaimed Property

Manage the data collection activity for Unclaimed Property compliance filings annually.
