Claims Coordinator – Construction Risk & Claims

Salary : $90,000 to $100,000 annually

Position Summary

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Claims Coordinator to manage external claims related to construction operations. This role focuses on auto / truck damage, property incidents, and third-party liability —not medical or workers' comp-heavy cases. You'll work closely with legal teams, field staff, and insurance carriers to investigate and resolve claims efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and manage auto / truck claims (e.g., equipment collisions, rock-related windshield damage, third-party property incidents).
• Coordinate with legal counsel to assess claim validity, gather evidence, and support litigation or settlements.
• Act as the primary liaison between field teams, insurance carriers, legal representatives, and third-party claimants.
• Maintain thorough documentation of incidents, investigations, and resolutions.
• Analyze claim trends and recommend preventative strategies to reduce future risk.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and insurance regulations.
• Provide occasional backup support for workers' comp or medical claims.
