Stryker Vehicle Maintenance Technician
Fort Cavazos, TX
Contract Position

Responsibilities :
Conduct troubleshooting and repair of faults, failures, and deficiencies across Stryker vehicle platforms
Perform Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) on all Stryker variants
Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions in automotive systems such as engine, transmission, cooling, fuel, exhaust, driveline, and suspension
Use Built-In Test Equipment (BITE) , manual troubleshooting procedures (MTPs) , and technical documentation for fault isolation and diagnostics
Perform component-level repair and replacement of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) using appropriate tools and manuals
Diagnose and correct issues in hydraulic systems , both common and variant-specific
Utilize Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) , schematics, and flow diagrams to identify and resolve issues
Complete maintenance and administrative documentation related to work performed
Operate computers and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and diagnostics
Maintain inventory and accountability of special tools, test equipment, and property
Qualifications :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree or technical certification preferred
Experience : Minimum 1–3 years of directly related vehicle maintenance experience
Citizenship : Must be a . person
Technical Skills :
Proficient in diagnosing and repairing power-pack systems (engine, transmission,
Understanding of turret systems , LRUs, and related acronyms
Ability to identify parts through IETMs , schematics, and configuration cross-referencing
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and computer diagnostics
Military Systems : Knowledge of General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) products, military terminology, and standards preferred
Certifications : Documented trade school , certified technical training , or equivalent commercial training
Access Requirements :
Ability to meet ASR (Army Safety Requirements)
Must be able to gain and maintain access to military facilities
Must be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS as required
Physical Requirements :
Work in both improved and field maintenance environments
Adjust to fluctuating customer work schedules
