Comprehensive Benefits : Sick leave Work Schedule : Full-time position Night shift Professional Growth : Advance your skills in a Level 1 / 2 Trauma Center with academic resources Impactful Work : Improve outcomes for critically ill / injured pediatric patients Triage and stabilize pediatric emergencies Manage high-acuity cases in fast-paced trauma settings Coordinate with multidisciplinary trauma teams Administer specialized pediatric interventions Document care using the EPIC EMR system Provide family-centered crisis support Maintain readiness for pediatric resuscitation events Education : Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN) Licensure : Active NY State RN License; Current BLS & PALS and ACLS preferred Experience : 2+ years of recent high-acuity Pediatric ER experience Experience in an Adult Emergency Department is a plus, but not required Candidates with experience limited to combined Adult / Pediatric Emergency Departments will not be considered Level 1 / 2 Trauma Center experience strongly preferred Technical Skills : EMR proficiency (EPIC experience preferred) Soft Skills : Superior clinical assessment, critical thinking, and rapid decision-making
