Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Front-End Developer to develop highly scalable software solutions for a high transaction commerce stack. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Front-End Developer, you should be comfortable around front-end technologies, development frameworks and third-party libraries.

Responsibilities

  • Identify user and system requirements for new websites and applications
  • Work closely with other developers, quality technicians, business analysts, product owners & UX / UI designers.
  • Create wireframes and design systems to build and maintain web brand standards and guidelines
  • Integrate with web service layers and CMS to enable high availability and flexibility with deployments
  • Develops and maintains responsive web designs using bootstrap or similar framework.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade the front-end software stack
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and scalability
  • Write technical documentation

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, User Experience or a relevant field
  • Proven experience (6+ years) as a Front-End Developer or similar
  • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSON, XSLT, XML & jQuery)
  • Experience writing single page applications using ReactJS, NextJS frameworks and RESTful web services.
  • Experience with Agile methodology, CI / CD and dev-ops pipelines such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Azure DevOps pipelines (Azure preferred).
  • Experience with source control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, GitHub
  • Experience with deploying to cloud technologies (AWS / Azure) a big plus
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Great attention to detail & organizational skills with an analytical mind
