What Youll Do :

Youll lead stormwater and hydrology designs that mattertransforming complex challenges into sustainable, community-friendly solutions.

Develop stormwater management designs and prepare hydraulic / hydrology calculations and studies

Author Storm Water Quality Management Plans (SWQMPs) and intake forms for Standard and Priority Development Projects

Create innovative preliminary stormwater strategies with cross-functional teams

Design in AutoCAD Civil3D 2022 , integrating BMPs with grading plans

Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure compliance with local / state regulations

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

Lead technical resubmittals, address agency comments, and manage project deadlines

Assist in proposal development, client presentations, and business development initiatives

Your Qualifications :

57+ years of experience in civil or water resources engineering

Licensed PE in California (or ability to obtain within 12 months)

Proficiency in SWMM, AES, Civil3D , and Microsoft Office

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and mentor junior staff

Familiarity with hydrology models, environmental review processes, and permit compliance

Bonus : Experience with Microstation and GIS / mapping tools
