The Director, Compensation drives the development, implementation, and maintenance of Verisign's compensation function. This position plans, develops and implements compensation programs, policies, procedures, in order to be responsive to the company's goals and competitive practices. The role is also responsible for the design and administration of the Company's recognition programs and human capital analytics.

Key responsibilities :

• Designs, develops, socializes and manages Verisign's compensation policies, procedures, and programs, including job analysis, job evaluation and pricing, incentive and recognition programs.
• Manages the consolidation of workforce reporting and analytics along with the design and maintenance of HR Dashboards to highlight trends and enable workforce decisions in concert of HRIS.
• Monitors legislation that may affect compensation policies and researches trends in executive compensation.
• Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures recommending plan revision as well as new plans and processes which are cost effective and consistent with compensation trends and Verisign's objectives.
• Manages the preparation of job descriptions, conducting job evaluation and salary surveys, establishing salary structures, and developing salary budgets.
• Manages activities of the Compensation department and provides supervision, development opportunities and direction to analysts.

This position is based in our Reston, VA office and offers a hybrid work schedule.

The pay range is $164,300 - $222,300.The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is noted above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience. Verisign offers a discretionary bonus which is based on individual and company performance, and certain roles may be eligible for discretionary stock awards.
